The timeless design of its facade ensures that the lighting conditions inside are ideal, while the office spaces can be used flexibly. A green inner courtyard provides an area for rest and relaxation, and the spacious roof terrace offers a wide view over Berlin.

SUSTAINABILITY PAYS OFF
SHFT is being built with an eye to the future – in accordance with the KfW 55 standard and the criteria for DGNB Gold certification. During construction the highest demands are being placed on the use of low-pollutant building materials. As a sustainable building, SHFT offers the maximum level of comfort for occupants and, at the same time, the lowest possible energy consumption.
A mechanical ventilation system with highly efficient heat recovery guarantees the ideal indoor air quality. And intelligent, demand-based control ensures that only as much energy as is actually needed is used for the heating, cooling, lighting and sun protection. Electricity costs are further reduced by a large photovoltaic system, which also reduces the dependency on fossil fuels.
